MotorMouth membership has been designed to give you a more rewarding MotorMouth experience. Although you are not required to be a MotorMouth member to use our smartphone application, the full functionality of our application is only available to registered users. From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. You play an important role in keeping your personal information secure, by maintaining the confidentiality of any password and accounts used on MotorMouth.
If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as your phone or email), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate that user's personally identifiable information provided to us. Our users are given the opportunity to 'opt-in' to receiving announcements, news and marketing material from us via email. For example, our registration process has an 'opt-in' mechanism for users to subscribe to our newsletters.
Users who no longer wish to receive our email newsletters and special offers from our partners may opt-out of receiving these communications by simply clicking on ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of the email received. Users of our site are always notified when their information is being collected by any outside parties. We do this so our users can make an informed choice as to whether they should proceed with services that require an outside party, or not.
