MotorMouth Happenings

Hello again from the team at MotorMouth

Last month we talked about whether people would be interested in getting driveway service and I was really surprised with the results that we got.

More than 73% said no thank you very much or they did not want to pay for it, and 22% said they would pay up to 5c a litre for the privilege. Whether it would be profitable for a service station to do this is another question – but if 22% of the market wants something you would have to think that’s a decent number of people…

We’ve also been having another think about how our regular visitors use our service, so this month we have another question for you. Who do you buy fuel from most of the time?

Is it the supermarket or convenience retailers like Coles Express, Woolworths and 7-Eleven, the major oil brands such as BP, Caltex, 7-Eleven, Shell or Mobil, is it an independent brand like Freedom, Metro, On the Run, Liberty, Matilda, Neumann, Gull or United, or none of the above?

That’s it for this month, don’t forget to vote!

Take care and safe motoring.

Cheers
Sean Rennick
