The MotorMouth Fuel Consumption Calculator is a handy service for calculating your fuel usage with the added benefit of providing multiple units of measurement for ease of understanding.
You can calculate your car's consumption by entering the kilometers driven and litres of fuel used over that distance. Your figures will then automatically appear in the fields below.
If you'd like to find out how many Miles Per Gallon (MPG) your car returns and you know the Litres per 100Km figure (L/100Km), type this into the L/100Km section and the conversions will be displayed instantly.
This month's winner is Andrew from Kurrajong in NSW.
Andrew's entry - Location of child seats
"I am surprised with the number of parents who, with only one child, do not install the baby capsule/seat in the centre of the back seat.
This was highlighted by friends asking 'Why would you put the baby seat in such a difficult place to get to? It is much easier on one side or the other.'
The quote from NSW RTA website:
'The safest location for a child restraint is in the centre of the rear seat.'
Surely child safety comes before ease of access?"
Congratulations! Your prize will be sent out
to you shortly.
