MotorMouth Happenings

Hello and welcome to the April 2007 issue of the MotorMouth Newsletter.

With the Easter road toll fresh in my mind, here are some thoughts on keeping safe on the roads in the year ahead.

There are very few accidents on the road!

Accidents do not just happen; they are caused mostly through individual driver’s bad attitudes, inappropriate speed and recklessness.

So called bad roads can’t be blamed for crashes; good drivers make allowances for “bad” or, more likely, unfamiliar roads.

These days I drive with the attitude that the drivers in front of me, alongside me or coming towards me are all idiots!

Until next month...

MotorMouth Competition

This month's winner is Ian from Lemon Tree Passage in NSW .

Ian's entry - Service Stations

"When are the larger service stations going to highlight where their diesel pumps are located on the forecourt.

When its busy you have to jump out of the 4WD to see which row of pumps has diesel particularly if you go to a service station you are unfamiliar with."

Congratulations Ian! Your prize will be sent out to you shortly.
