MotorMouth Happenings

Hello and welcome to the January issue of the MotorMouth Newsletter.

Many commentators are predicting the price of fuel will increase over the next few months. At MotorMouth we do not make predictions on the future price of crude oil or what you may expect to pay at the bowser in the future.

Our focus is to report the cheapest known fuel prices in each local area.

An increasing number of fuel discount offers are now available across the market with ColesExpress and Woolworths probably the best known.

It is very difficult to keep up with all the offers at present and sometimes the cheapest price may be available from a site without a discount offer - so do shop around.

We encourage you to take a look at the following offers:

IGA

  • Go fill up your family car at any service station
  • Shop at a participating IGA store any day and spend $30.00
  • Bring in your fuel receipt
  • IGA will reimburse you 4c a litre on your petrol receipt up to 80 litres.

For full details visit: http://www.iga.net.au/index.cfm?page_id=2055

Mobil

  • Spend $5 or more on shop items and/or car washes
[ex Adelaide] and receive 4 cents per litre off your fuel purchase
  • The discount is only available on fuel purchases paid for in the shop at time of shop item/car wash purchase
  • Purchases can be paid for by cash, credit card, debit card or cheque
  • The discount is available on fuel purchases to a maximum of 100 litres

For full details visit: http://www.exxonmobil.com.au/index.asp

Please make sure you read the full terms and conditions for any offer available in the market.

Until next month…

Ps. If you would like to see us feature another fuel discount offer next month, then please send me a brief email.

MotorMouth Competition

This Months Prize

This month's winner is Terry from Albany Creek in QLD.

Terry's entry - Driving Licences and Registration

"Why in this day and age, can't the State governments all get together and agree on 1 Australian driving license and 1 registration permit.

We seem to be able to do it with Passports?

Think of how much expensive duplication could be saved by the States - might be enough to reduce the costs of these items? But I won't hold my breath on that happening."

Congratulations Terry! Your prize will be sent out to you shortly.

EMAIL IN AND WIN!
