MotorMouth Competition

This Months Prize

This month's winner is Vicki from Clayton South in VIC.

Vicki's entry - More courtesy towards others

"After a few years of living and driving overseas, I've come to realise how selfishly Australians drive these days. We seem to think only of ourselves on the road. For example, when a line of traffic is creeping along very slowly, it's easy to stop and allow a waiting driver to pull in from a side street or driveway.

Once the traffic speeds up again that poor driver will find it nearly impossible to break into the line of traffic. We could also be a little more thoughtful towards drivers at 'Keep clear' zones. It's not necessary for everyone to creep over to the other side of the zone, preventing waiting drivers from pulling across the road.

If we all use a little more courtesy towards others we can keep the traffic flowing better, saving us all time and money in the end."

Congratulations Vicki! Your prize will be sent out to you shortly.
