MotorMouth Happenings

Hello and welcome to the first newsletter since our relaunch as MotorMouth!

The last few months have been a very exciting and hectic time for us as we've worked towards the change from FuelWatch Pty Ltd to MotorMouth Pty Ltd.  All of the hard work paid off and we successfully launched as MotorMouth on 30 March!

The MotorMouth website offers the following great services:

  •  Free and unlimited fuel price searches
  •  Free personalised daily email alerts
  •  Great competitions
  •  And much more!

The response to the new name and services from users has been very positive, with many users already signing up for free personalised daily email alerts.  The changes to the website were driven by user feedback and our efforts to provide a better service for our users.

It is our vision that over time MotorMouth will become a more comprehensive website, offering first-rate information on a range of topics for Australian motorists. We will always provide unrestricted fuel price searching and free daily emails, but also hope to offer additional motoring information. We are currently in the process of investigating how we might extend our services, so if you have any great ideas on subjects you would like to see covered by MotorMouth online, please send them through.  We aim to develop a website that is of interest and benefit to all Australian motorists.

And finally for those who haven't already signed up for their free daily fuel price emails, remember every user who does sign up for our free e-mails in April has the chance to win one of three fantastic $300 accommodation vouchers from Wotif.com.  To learn more about the MotorMouth / Wotif.com competition, click here.  To receive your free emails, login to the MotorMouth website, click on Create Email and complete the short set up process.

Good luck with the Wotif.com competition and please contact us if you have any questions or comments regarding MotorMouth and our money saving services.

Until next month...

Bernadette Murray

Fuel Saving Tips

Learn all about your car and the tricks it has - my BMW has a hill descent trick which holds the car back two gears if I tap the brake pedal on a descent, and as well as saving brake pads it also saves fuel. BMW also advise that you should never sit in your driveway warming up your car because until the catalytic convertors warm up, rich unburnt fuel from the cold engine will heavily pollute the atmosphere. Modern oils take care of the cold start lubrication problems you could assume would happen otherwise and buy the very best oil you can.
